Andy Morrissey - Bsc (Hons) MCSP
Andrew qualified from Coventry University in 2016 and enjoyed two years working within the NHS, covering surgical, medical, musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and intensive care units before progressing within orthopaedics and working closely with consultants to provide pre and post operation rehabilitation to patients following neck, back, shoulder, knee and hip surgeries. Andrew has also worked for a local university where he worked alongside strength and conditioning coaches in managing sporting injuries for athletes and staff at the university.
Andrew currently works in occupational health, providing onsite physiotherapy working with employees in helping them to return to work and manage injuries safely whilst at work. Andrew also volunteers at the London Marathon every year to deliver assessment and treatment to runners and is also working at the British Transplant Games in August 2021
Away from work Andrew has been a semi-professional footballer before obtaining his sport science and physiotherapy degrees and also enjoys going to the gym and running. Through his sporting experience, Andrew appreciates the frustrations experienced following injury and therefore, strives to offer quick, effective and specific treatment and advice to his patients, whether sport or work-related.
