Luke qualified with a BSc Physiotherapy Hons) from Coventry University in 2018.
He was successful in gaining a position at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire where he completed two years of rotational experience. He worked in various departments including a long period in Critical care during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He then was successful in gaining a senior position in musculoskeletal outpatient therapy where he continues to progress his experience and knowledge base. This role enables Luke to work closely with local orthopaedic consultants and a wide range of conditions presenting to the Physiotherapy department. It is through this role that Luke has developed a special interest in the management in shoulder injuries
Luke also achieved his sports massage and taping diploma in 2018 and has provided post-event massage and physiotherapy for the London marathon and Birmingham half marathons. He has also provided expert services to local Rugby clubs.
Luke has played rugby since the age of 11, and has had personal experience of both operative and non-operative management of injuries and understands how it feels to experience injury. Luke feels this gives him a greater empathy and understanding of his patients experience.
