Laura qualified from Coventry University in 2009 and since then has gained a wealth of experience in the NHS and private sector.
Laura continued her studies and achieved a distinction in her masters degree (Msc) in Manual Therapy at Coventry University and gained advanced qualifications in injection therapy.
She also has postgraduate training in pilates, acupuncture and sports massage alongside many other postgraduate courses.
Before becoming Clinical Director at LMC Physiotherapy, Laura worked as an Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist working closely with orthopaedic surgeons in the local area. This role involves complex clinical reasoning and decision making including ordering and interpreting imaging, such as X-rays and MRI scans, and listing patients for surgical procedures. She also was an injection therapist and worked closely with GP colleagues.
Outside of work Laura is a keen runner and triathlete. She has completed 4 marathons including London Marathon and 2 half iron man triathlons. She has completed many cycling events including the Birmingham 100 mile velo event. Laura has been on the other side of injuries and has herself had hip surgery following a running injury. This experience means that Laura fully understands the impact injuries can have your wellbeing. Due to her unique experience she is able to support you with your training and achieving your goals alongside her extensive Physiotherapy experience.
Laura treats every client as as an individual aiming to provide a personalised treatment and a bespoke rehabilitation program to meet your individual needs and goals.
Laura is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC; Reg no: PH93020) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP; Membership no: 085894).
