Running MOT

At LMC Physio & Fitness we love helping runners. Our Clinic in Bilton in Rugby was designed withe aim of being able to provide excellent services for runners.

The Running MOT is really helpful if you are struggling with a running injury or  a reoccurring niggle or want some more insight  into your running biomechanics and how to improve your efficiency. We have 2 packages available and you can read more about these below.

Package 1 - 45 minutes 

  • Discussion with a chartered Physiotherapist about your running training, previous injuries and any other factors.
  • Video analysis of you running on a treadmill and/ or outside from multiple angles.
  • Analysis and discussion of your running technique from a Physiotherapist trained in running gait analysis.
  • Implementation of running drills, gait adjustments or suggestions of areas of improvement.
  • Videos and report of your analysis emailed to you within 48 hours.
  • Option for a follow up review session to monitor progress.

Package 2 

  • 1:1 Discussion with a Physiotherapist about your running training, previous injuries and any other factors.Physiotherapist assessment and movement screening.
  • Includes a strength assessment of the key muscle groups involved in running.
  • Video analysis of you running on a treadmill and/ or outside from multiple angles.
  • Analysis and discussion of this video from a  Physiotherapist trained in running gait analysis.
  • Implementation of running drills or suggestions of areas of improvement.
  • Implementation of exercise program specific to your needs based on the findings of the assessment.
  • Videos and report of your analysis emailed to you within 48 hours.
  • Option for a follow up review session to monitor progress.

Do I need to be an experienced runner to book a Running MOT?
Not at all, our assessments are for everyone, from beginners to competitive athletes. The goal is to help you understand your movement and prevent injury, whatever your level.

What should I bring to my Running MOT?
Wear your usual running shoes and clothing you’re comfortable exercising in. If possible, bring older trainers too, wear patterns can give valuable clues about your gait.

Will I get a written report?
Yes. Within 48 hours you’ll receive a detailed written report and videos from your analysis, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

How soon will I see results after making changes?
Many runners notice improvements in comfort and efficiency within a few weeks of applying the suggested drills and exercises. Consistency is key.
